The best vacation destinations are the ones that offer the most to potential travelers; they have history, adventure, and exciting events that keep you occupied throughout your stay. When you visit Annapolis, you know it’s going to be the best vacation you’ve ever experienced! Offering all the aforementioned and so much more, the only down side to your Annapolis getaway is having to leave at the end of your stay. Here’s a list of upcoming Annapolis events that will bring an extra sparkle to an already glittering and shining vacation.
Freedom Bound: Runaways of the Chesapeake, Running Through January 1st
One of the best upcoming Annapolis events is located at the Historic Annapolis Museum and Store, this riveting and powerful exhibit tells the stories of slaves and servants who attempted to escape their owners and masters in the 1700s and 1800s. Explore a different time through a series of videos, artifacts, and even some hands-on activities guaranteed to make it feel even more real. Sometimes it’s important to study the past in order to not repeat it, and this exhibit helps do just that.

Oyster Festival, Captain Avery Museum and Other Upcoming Annapolis Events

Serving up these special treats in about every way imaginable, there will also be dessert and other land lubber meals. This is one festival seafood lovers should not skip!
