The brick sidewalks and streets of Annapolis, MD are charming enough to explore on their own, but when the First Sunday Arts Festival rolls around, there is even more reason to flock to this historic area.
About the Festival
The First Sunday Arts Festival is much more than just an arts and crafts fair. With the street blocked off and several music stages set up in different areas, it carries the vibe of a happening block party. Over 130 vendors and artists line the streets under white event tents, showcasing items such as pottery, jewelry, clothes, furniture, blown and fused glass, photography, paintings, and other unique goods. Browse local and regional vendors to pick up something for yourself or to bring back home as a thoughtful gift.
A variety of delicious food options are onsite, including quick bites at food trucks or established restaurants with outdoor tables so you can continue enjoying the entertainment. For a relaxed Sunday afternoon, snag an outdoor table at one of the top restaurants along this strip and enjoy a leisurely lunch and glass of wine.
Several entertainment stages spaced throughout the event make it possible to enjoy a variety of music throughout the afternoon, even while you browse. Discover a new local favorite band or sing along to a well-known cover with some of the Annapolis area’s best vocalists.
