Built for Comfort
We all want to be comfortable on vacation, even if we are only traveling for a few days, but when you know you will be spending 60 days of your life in Annapolis, the importance of comfort rises to new levels, and our month to month rentals in Annapolis meet the challenge! Offering kitchens that are the heart of the home, the updated appliances make meal preparation fun, as does the inherent cheerfulness of the space! Dining rooms often serve multiple purposes as our guests enjoy meals, play games or put together puzzles, or use the sturdy and stylish tables as temporary offices; staying in tune with your work while staying close to your family makes it easy to blend business and pleasure!
Inside of our 60-Day Rentals in Annapolis
The living areas of our 60-day rentals in Annapolis are yet another example of a multi-purpose space. In these rooms, conversations are had, televisions shows are watched on state-of-the-art televisions, books are read, and yes, naps are taken. We know the importance of these spaces, and we put a lot of thought into the furnishings that fill them. Is that couch too soft or too hard? Can you see the television from all angles of the living room? And does that chair by the window offer enough light and comfort for reading? If you’re spending 60 days out of your life in one home, we want to make sure all the details are covered! And finally, a good night’s sleep is imperative for a clear mind, especially on a longer stay, and we can personally verify that our bedrooms are serene and tranquil spaces designed to give you the best night’s sleep possible!
Feeling Like a Native
One of the benefits of staying with us for 60 days is getting to feel as if you are a part of the community. You learn that the breakfasts served at Evelyn’s, 26 Annapolis Street, are hearty and delicious, and if you are visiting during the pandemic, the staff is relieved to be offering dine-in service once again. You discover that the produce at the Fresh Market, 2504 Solomons Island Road, is fresh and organic, and that although the prices are a little higher than you normally spend, the quality is worth the extra expense. Spending more time in Maryland also means that you will quite possibly have to refill at least one of your prescriptions; because Walgreens is everywhere, it is a simple matter to get them to transfer your prescription to the one nearest your At Home Annapolis rental. And when you are really missing your yoga class back home, you find that a walk to Susan Campbell Park on a Saturday morning will give you what you need! Yoga in the Park with Ashley is held on Saturdays at 8:00 AM and social distancing is practiced, so you will be completely safe.
Shiplap Is Not Just a Texas Thing
The history of our city on the bay is a long and prolific one that cannot be avoided and includes items you may associate with Texas. The Shiplap House, located at 1815 Pinkney Street and constructed in 1715, being the perfect example! Designed with bricks and shiplap, this beautiful home has seen a lot of changes in the last few centuries, and you would be amiss if your journey did not bring you to its doorstep. Pinkney Street is a part of the historic district and a walk along its length will be a memorable part of your getaway and the site of many of your favorite photographs! If you want to get a quick glimpse of everything you want to see during your time in Annapolis, reserve a trolley tour with Towne Transport and explore over 350 years of history in an hour. The prices are reasonable, and the tours give you an idea of areas you may want to spend more time exploring! After the tour, be sure to stop in the Dock Street Bar & Grill for a refreshing beverage and another peek into the history of Annapolis; built in what was once the city jail, if you listen closely you may still hear the sounds of cell doors closing and the whispers of the residents who were once imprisoned within these walls.
